The Drystone Walks project arose from a mutual interest in travelling, walking and the outdoors shared by two couples who live in Derbyshire near to the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and the stunning Peak District.

Our backgrounds in business, teaching, accountancy and nursing, (plus a footpath guardian for Ramblers’ Association), provide the range of skills for us to ensure you have a memorable holiday experience on the Heart of England’s lesser known paths and byways.

Our enthusiasm for the self-guided walks is tempered by our wish to give you ample time to ‘stop and stare’ and enjoy the many interesting features you will find, both with our help and for yourself.
